The MEAN WELL LRS-50-12 is a 50.4W switched-mode power supply designed in a compact, low-profile (1U) form factor, ideal for industrial, automotive, mechanical equipment, and household appliance applications. Its mesh case allows for efficient heat dissipation, ensuring reliable operation in confined spaces.

It operates with a universal input range of 85 to 264V AC at 47-63Hz, providing a 12V DC output with a maximum current of 4.2A. The output voltage is adjustable via potentiometer between 10.2V and 13.8V DC, adapting to the specific needs of the load.

Its typical efficiency is 86%, with a no-load consumption of less than 0.2W, optimizing energy efficiency. It features reinforced 4000V AC isolation between input and output, along with low noise and ripple levels of 120mVp-p, ensuring a clean and stable power supply.

The operating temperature range spans from -30°C to +70°C, allowing its use in demanding environments. Furthermore, it is designed to operate at altitudes exceeding 5000 meters (see drift curves in the technical data sheet).
