The MEAN WELL LRS-50-12 is a 50.4W switching power supply, designed in a compact, low-profile (1U) form factor, ideal for industrial, automotive, mechanical equipment, and household appliance applications. Its mesh enclosure allows for efficient heat dissipation, ensuring reliable operation in confined spaces.

It operates with a universal input range of 85 to 264V AC at 47-63Hz, providing a 12V DC output with a maximum current of 4.2A. The output voltage is adjustable via potentiometer between 10.2V and 13.8V DC, adapting to the specific needs of the load.

Its typical efficiency is 86%, with a no-load power consumption of less than 0.2W, optimizing energy efficiency. It features reinforced 4000V AC insulation between input and output, along with a low noise level and a ripple of 120mVp-p, ensuring a clean and stable power supply.

The operating temperature range extends from -30°C to +70°C, allowing for use in demanding environments. It is also designed to operate at altitudes above 5,000 meters (see drift curves in the data sheet).

Its compact dimensions of 99 x 82 x 30 mm make it easy to integrate into space-constrained applications. It can be mounted on a panel, wall, or DIN rail using the KDIN accessory, offering installation versatility.

The LRS-50-12 complies with EN55032 Class B regulations without the need for additional components and EN62368-1, making it suitable for residential applications, coffee machines, household appliances and electronic equipment.
