The MEAN WELL XLG-100-12 power supply is a constant-power LED driver specifically designed to power LED strips and medium-to-high-power lighting systems in demanding environments. Its sealed metal housing with IP67 protection makes it ideal for outdoor, industrial, and extreme environmental applications.

It supports an input range of 100 to 305V AC at 47-63Hz, providing a 12V DC output (adjustable between 8.4 and 12V DC) with a maximum current of 8A, adjustable using the built-in potentiometer in a range of 4 to 8A. Its rated power is 96W, with a typical efficiency of 92%, ensuring stable operation and optimized energy consumption.

The XLG-100-12 model incorporates advanced protections against overloads, short circuits, overheating, and output overvoltage, ensuring the reliability and durability of the installation. It features a power factor correction (PFC) of >0.95 at 230V AC at full load, minimizing the impact on the power grid.

This driver is a Class I driver, grounded through its metal housing. Its compact dimensions (140 x 63 x 32 mm) facilitate integration into projects where space is a key factor.

Its extremely wide operating temperature range, from -40°C to +90°C (Tc), guarantees performance in harsh environmental conditions. It is also approved for hazardous areas in accordance with HL Class I Division 2 regulations in the USA.
